Ottorino Respighi's captivating Fountains of Rome, the first of the composer's three resplendent tone poems depicting settings and celebration of Italy's magnificent capital city, forms the centerpiece of the USO's December concert. The evening also features a performance of Robert Schumann's masterful Piano Concerto in A minor, with soloist Phillip Lo, Co-Winner of the 2020 Concerto Competition. Berlioz’s Roman Carnival Overture is also on the program.
